It’s official! Prismatic Night is slated to arrive Thursday, May 1st! This pattern has been a labor of love and I am thrilled to finally be sharing the design with you.
As I began writing this pattern, I considered heavily what it would look like in different styles, colors, and fabric lines. Which, of course, granted me the perfect opportunity to play with color outside of my normal palette. Isn’t that fun? I’ve enjoyed compiling a handful mockups using a variety of fabric lines that I’ve used and loved. I hope that these help inspire you as you pull your Prismatic Night fabrics. 🌙🌈

Dear Stella

Kitty Litter

The Kitty Litter line by Dear Stella is paw-sitively adorable and vast. The wide range of colors in this collection are a delight to play with and can suit a variety of styles, but I was drawn to a light BG version. The subtle cat and mini shape motif adds paw-some texture and depth.

Ruby Star Society

Cover (Strawberry, Salutations and Washi Plus)

As a lover of rainbows, bright color, and playful prints, it should come as no surprise that the cover of this quilt includes all of those things. For the cover version, I used prints from Ruby Star Society’s Strawberry, Salutations, and Washi Plus lines. I feel like these lines work so well together, and I hope to more Prismatic Night quilts made using these lines, too.

Speckled

I am nothing if not a big fan of a subtle print. I love how Ruby Star Society’s Speckled line reads as a solid from a distance but has a bit more depth and interest up close. I’ve yet to see a project made with Speckled that I didn’t like. Seriously. This mockup featured a darker BG that is warm and subtle, allowing the stars to ‘shine.’ I need to make this version ASAP.
