The Jumbled Crayons block is a beginner-friendly FPP pattern that explores color through four different crayons. In addition to being simple to piece, this pattern includes a video tutorial that walks even a true beginner through the construction of this specific block and FPP as a whole. This pattern is a perfect skill building opportunity for anyone interested in expanding their sewing skills!
Whether you choose to include this block in a quilt or as a standalone piece, it is sure to bring a touch of childhood joy however it is used. Consider fussy cutting in the crayon wrappers and experimenting with color as you pick your crayons.
This pattern includes directions for the following sizes:
Small – 8” x 8”
Medium – 12” x 12”
Larger – 16” x 16”
In addition to FPP templates for all three sizes and the video tutorial, you will find a coloring sheet, bonus colorway ideas to inspire your fabric pull, and two ‘bonus’ ideas(and piece requirements) for a wall hanging (8”x11”) and quilt (45”x45”).
